Head Unit Wont Go Back In

Not sure if this may help you but when I had all the gear for the ice install from @Absolut5 i was struggling to get all the wires pushed neatly behind as I had a mountain of wires / plug connectors / relays etc so I decided to cut off the big loom plug ,male/ female and soldered all the relevant wires then shrink tubed them , which was a massive help in getting them pushed back neatly !

I pushed the blocks into voids as far as possible and then really push the head unit as hard as I could, I could just about get a screw in and once I started screwing it in I let the screw do all the hard work which pulled the unit back into place. The other 3 screws followed and it was a tight fit but is back in place.

Thanks, I thought about more force but worried about breaking something or cutting some of the wires.
