Headlight & DRL instrument light

Hi all.
I bought a 2018 Kombi a couple of months ago.
It has auto headlamps which I leave on.
I swapped the H4's for H7's which has been a massive difference.
I also coded the main and dip to come on together with Carista beta.
I didn't realise until recently when it started to get darker, that there is no light anywhere on the intrument cluster or dash to tell me the lights are actually on.
I was thinking about the below which could be installed into one of the blanks on the dash.
Would something like this be able to be wired into the loom so when the auto lights come on, it just lights up, so I know the lights are on.

The light switch already does this. It only illuminates the Auto Lights symbol when off.

I still haven’t checked the illumination on the switch on mine but I think it’s weird that there isn’t any indication that the lights are except that other lights that aren’t on illuminate. My thinking is that with the h4 headlights installed the light from the led indicator would over power the headlights and dazzle the driver!

You would want people to see your indicators... That's the idea
