I broke the same clip. Instead of pushing the spring to the side I wrenched the thing forward. I’ve put some silicone inside the plastic cap to make a wedge at the back of the 3 pin plug. I’ve already thought of the lamp is loose I’ll open the grey plastic cove and put another blob on top but let it go off before I refit it. I ain’t buying a new headlamp either. If it’s any use, the battery side is easier. We should have done that 1st I think
