Heated Windscreen Foggy Stripes T6 Kombi

I have the heated windscreen in the T6 Kombi (2019) but when heating it leaves two foggy/frosty stripes right in front of the steering wheel section of the windscreen. Of course it eventually goes away but after a further 10 minutes of waiting before you can drive off while the rest of the windscreen is clear. Mildly annoying.

Is there a fix for this other than a replacement windscreen?

I have the same in the middle of my screen. Caused by a bloody stonechip breaking the filament. No fix apart from replacement so I just put up with it.

I had the same issue about a year ago, luckily still under warranty and they agreed to replace it.
