I am going to check my Google drive as well and see if I have the adaptation map.

I have this from a scan of my Gen Six with full 3 zone climate, not sure if it's any good

@Spookybear @Robert thanks for the HVAC scans, I don't think the issue is with the long coding as I have the same coding already in the T5 panle, obviously minus the Insulated glass and rear control panel options (mine is a panel van with no rear seating)

@Robert if you did manage to find any SA code that would be great, not sure what info I will be able to see but its worth a try.

There aren't many adaption channels listed and none correspond to heated screen.

As you can see in the wiring diagrams there are some differences, the blower motor might be ok (just needs 1 wire swapping) but the defrost flap motor images are different. It might just be drawn differently but pin assignment is the same for both but still have a fault. I could try and swap the polarity of the motor wires:cautious:

Unfortunately I don't have any security access codes for your module. I presume you already have asked Fernando?;)

yes but this climate panel was not available in the polo. I've asked a couple of places and nobody knows. I don't think the HVAC modules are a commonly modified module and doesn't get much attention:rolleyes:

That is exactly what I was thinking too and I really understand your desire to stick to OEM approach but I am afraid you might end up as I suggested previously.
I will be happy if you prove that I was wrong.

Got a rather larger stone to my windscreen last friday and now I'm between deciding to change that normal screen to heated one. To my knowledge retrofitting includes dash button, relay and the windscreen?

My question is about wiring things, I saw some pictures here on forum about the connection:

Heated Window Screen Help

I presume that those "foils" are the electric connection to the heater elements? Where I can get those plastic parts and other required hardware? My glass changer can get the heated screen, but he told me to check the connections first, so that he doesn't have to do anything else than to change the glass. But from what I can see in those pics I can do it afterwards?

Edit: I showed those pictures to my glass changer and he said that I have to get those black plastic parts for the wires before he will make the change. Does anyone have part number for them?

Edit2: Got those part numbers sorted out, cost me 80€; connectors and holders for them, relay, fuses, dash button, wires for bcm.

I am in the process of sourcing parts for this retrofit as well. In case anyone else wants to repeat the build, as Gobi didn't share:

Relay 4H0951253 (I think) - it is a 644 relay
Relay socket 4H0937528

The squared plastic parts come glued to the foil with the glass as well as connectors. There is 4 of them in total - 2 ground and 2 positive.
The connecting sockets are exactly the same as the connectors attached to the glass.
So you need to source:
71973751 - 2pcs
71973851 - 2pcs

The button for the dash:
7E0959622AWHS

and finally the heated windscreen glass:
8579AGNHMVZ15
or even better:
8579AGAHMVZ15 - insulated double glass (green'ish colour) (original: 7E0845099ALNVB)
These part numbers give you AGC, Pilkington and Fyao/FYG with the first 2 obviously better options.

The wiring is shown in this post:

Fuse location:

Relay location:

The only thing I haven't figured out yet is the holders of those plastic squares that connect foils to wires (you can see them in Gobi's post)

I am 99% complete on my heated screen retrofit, it all functions fine just not quite the way I want.

it will work via the separate button setup as most of them are View attachment 57572But I want to control it via the climatronic panel over CAN
(You can just make it out on this pic)
View attachment 57573
as mine is a T5.1 I have a slightly different climatronic panel which I have fitted the heated screen button to from another panel (all pcb components all seem to be present) but just doesn’t function
View attachment 57574
So I guess I need to make some edit to the climatronic panel eeprom (if possible) or maybe I need to make some changes to the BCM.

....so does anyone who has the heated screen button In the climatronic panel have an auto scan and an admap of their BCM?
I think trying to retrofit the T6 climatronic is less complicated, You have already T6 BCM
Maybe a little repining is needed

Hello, @Adams
I have the samelooking Climatronic module in T5GP, mine HVAC is 7E5907040AC. I want to bring a heated windscreen button from Sharan's / PassatCC hvac too. Have you succeeded with eeprom mode or a security code?
Thx
