I don’t know about a T6 double seat swivel but the Mercedes double seat swivel is two plates on top of the base. The one connected to the seat spins while the one connected to the base stays put. This leaves you with the space free in the base to put in battery etc. You can see the one in Greg’s van here:

I am surprised there isn’t something similar for a T6.
