I'm new here.
Just signed up as many years ago i had a T4 which i converted to camper. Sadly at the time i chose a van that was just too old and it eventually became a money pit. Eventually the engine died and i sold it as a none runner (I just didnt have money or time to do anything with it back then).
6 years later i am considering going down this route again. But i will start with a much better base van.
I have only been researching for a few weeks but i am thinking of a T6 2017/18 model because it is the cheapest with the EU6 rating and potentially just within price range. I went LWB with the T4 and never regretted it. That extra bit of space makes a lot of difference to me. Also i had the 2.5TDi 102 BHP, this seemed powerfull enough. I assume most of the T6 models will be similar if not better performance wise?
Looking online there seems to be very few private sellers. 4K of VAT hurts a little. Any recommendations for buying or advice is much appriciated.
