Hello from a T5/6 owner

As title I've got a 20 year old T5 with a T6 font end. its the front bit im having problems with. i want to simply change or cover the 2 chrome strips on the grille to orange. unfortunately I think the grill, bumper etc is a mismatch of various T6 bits. im just wondering if anyone would know difinitively what I've got. i think the grille is trendline.It seems to be (but not gauranteed) to be attached to the middle Grille. I have a part no on the lower grill of 7E0 807 221D this suggests early T6
I have also taken off one of the chrome trims and has a part no 7E5 853 102

I have looked at many companiess vanstyle etc. found Orange trim but the small print says "will not fit startline"

Can anyone help before i totally loose it and get the orange rattle can out

Have a look at the side of your lower grille. Startline are totally vertical, trend line and highline have a forward angle on them. Startline are all one piece, (upper and lower joined) and the lower grille has no removable inserts.

The ACC radar sensor hole on yours looks very heavy duty, an indicator of a startline textured bumper that has been painted over. (And had a Sport line lower bumper fitted)

Another indication of Startline bumper is the lower grille bars are all the same thickness and there's only two of them. 3 on a trend/high with the lower one being thicker.
