Hi all

Thank you for allowing us to join the T6 forum family, the forum looks great and I dare say we will be frequent visitors to it.

We will be picking up our new to us T6 with camper conversation at the weekend, very excited. We have had a few much older 1960’s VW type 2’s over the years, so this will be the start of new adventures to us in an extremely more modern VW camper van, which we are so looking forward to.

Hopefully I’ve successfully added a photo, but will post more when we get it.

Congratulations! Looks like a pretty sorted van already but I’m sure you’ll find loads of stuff on here to spend more money on.

Any plans to get away to test it? If so I hope it has a heater in it as it’s starting to get a bit chilly at night, if not that could be the first purchase plus maybe a thermal cover for the poptop (loads of stuff to buy )

Yes it has a fancy diesel heater fitted. Those thermal pop top covers sound a good idea, plus some for the windscreen and side front door windows wouldn’t go a miss. Also looking at buying an outdoor cover that can accommodate a pop top and side awning. No plans of a get away just yet, but that may all change.
