Hi Vehicle - 2017 T6 T32 Kombi, hi-line. Single Front seats.
The passenger heated seat hasn't worked since I aquired the vehicle. Today I had a peek underneath and see two connectors. A black one with 3 wires and a yellow one, again with 3 wires on the seat base. However the connectors dont appear to be compatible male and female. Any pointers would be great. Can take more piccies if required.

Yellow plugs are for the airbag system. Sounds like your original front bench seat has been swapped for an un heated single seat with an airbag in it.

Thanks, Normally where would the black connectors mate be attached on the seat base. I have no idea if the seats have been swapped out. The upholserty matches the drivers chair, both are captain style chairs and the control for passenger heated seat is factory fitted on the dash. Wondering if its been tucked up out of the way. There is a 240V breaker box for the hookup and a large bundle of connectors under the passenger seat. However, they all seem plugged up on a connector plate. I can't see on the drivers side where it goes as there is a leisure battery under it blocking the view.

There is a small black socket clipped to the bottom of the seat base that the black plug in your photo would plug in to.

You can see the connections in this thread,

I've been studing that thread in depth and looking at the wiring diagram, now i've signed up as VIP, I'm going to have a go at retrofitting a non OEM heated seat pad, just in the base as I have the connector present. Looking at the wiring diagram there is a thermistor located here @ G60. What I've seen is 12V Ali-express / ebay aftermarket heat pads don't have a thermistor, but If i can find the value of the thermistor (guessing roughly 10K ohms) It can be added to an after market heated pad to provided the temp feedback.
So does anyone know the value of the thermistor ?

After doing some digging I've opted for an NTC Thermistor @ 6.8k 4200 3%. Let you know how I get on. Initially I'm gonna wire it up externally to the seat and do some resistance and temp readings using all 3 settings from the OEM switch.
