Help Needed - Tips And Tricks To Get Wire Down The Tailgate.

I'm stuck on this... currently fitting electric tailgate.. need to run 4 looms down the hatch. Have tried the usual wire trick by I cant get it round the 90 degree bend enough to reach it. Also tried a heavy bolt on the end with the tailgate down. Currently thinking of just drilling another access hole and the bottom of the tailgate and them plugging with a grommet?

For anybody giving this a go...

I've been struggling with running Tailgate cables for my reverse camera and spot lighting. It's been an absolute nightmare but I've finally managed it. I did try coat hangers, cable pulling kits etc etc. But the only thing that has worked is dropping a metal nut on some string from the top grommet (as suggested earlier), then fishing the nut from the lower entry point using an Endoscope with magnetic tip.

I know this sounds like overkill but I've honestly spent hours trying to run these cables and the endoscope managed it in minutes.. well worth the £40 and will come in handy.

Last time I met one of those it was at my tail, not my tailgate!

Finally did mine today. Used some cable from a gym machine I have in the garage, was left over from when I renewed it all.

Fed it down easily enough but bringing it back up with the connector for camera was a no go due to the shape of the connector being too big.

Ended up popping the rubber off, fed one bit through the rubber and then went up through the tail gate with the cable to lull it all through.
