Hi All,
Been into Volkswagens (Mostly air-cooled ) for many years, since I was a lad. , I have a fully restored early bay which I did myself over about 20 years (yeah it was on and off for a very long time , but I never gave up lol ;-) , and ill be keeping the old girl because she's part of the family. However my latest Daily driver is coming to the end of its days , so I thought this might be time to get a T6 as a new daily driver , with the intention of having a play around modifying it into a day van. I've always like the T4/5/6 vans and its always been on my list to get one. I've decided to aim for a T6 , maybe get an empty one and kit the back out myself over time as a little project to get it how I want it. I guess I'm here to soak up any information about what to look out for mechanically or body work wise when purchasing the base van , and also to join all you lot on the journey modifying her.
Any useful links or posts about buying or helpful advice would be really appreciated. Hopefully going to be looking for a van over the next couple of weeks in the 20K range.
