Hi,
looking forward to using the forum, i have a LWB T6.1 panel van converted to a Kombi. I was wondering will a rib 130 fit in the back without removing the middle row?

It would be really useful if I could have the extra seats, then remove the mid row when using as a camper.

Cheers

Hi, could anyone help, I might be able to get a second hand rib 130 but can;t take the plunge unless I know.
many thanks
Paul

Does anyone know if I could leave the middle seats in and fit a rib or similar in the back of a LWB, popping the mid seats out when i want the bed down. It would be great to have an extra row in the back that turns into a bed. Cheers. Paul

Hi.
How many seats is the van registered as having? An extra row might be useful but not necessarily legal and insured correctly.
Of course, you could change the registration but if it's just for convenience, it would be simpler to just swap the middle row for a bench. The Kombi seats and brackets have decent resale value too...
I'm not sure exactly how the RIB fits but I have a feeling that the rails may be hindered by the kombi seat brackets. It may go in but if it can't slide all the way forward, it may not go flat enough to be a bed.

Thank you for the reply and sorry for the delay. I've bought a rib second hand, i pick it up tomorrow. Ill go with your advice. I might leave the single seat bracket in and put one in occasionally to seat my grand daughter in the isofix, im not sure the rib 1300 has isofix.

cheers
Paul
