Hi, just starting to look for a 2017/18 T6 LWB Camper and wondering what the general feeling is which engine is the best to go for. I have read some problems.
2.0 TDi 102ps Diesel Engine is one I have seen regularly. Grateful for any thoughts. Cheers Robertr.

Best advice I can give is to go out & drive a 102.
This may be adequate for your needs - only you can tell.
Converters will use a 102 as a base vehicle as it costs less and is easier to sell on,
I drive a 150.
For a campervan, driven as a leisure vehicle with a "I'll get there when I get there" attitude, I'm very happy at this output power.
I couldn't afford a 204

When you buy the vehicle of choice, sign up & become a VIP member.
It is well worth it for the small outlay.

When purchasing goods for the Vw, please don't forget about the Forum discount rule to be applied when discussing in front of the chief accountant:

This is a simple explanation of that rule:

150 is where you want to be with these vans but if you do get a 102 then take it to a tuner to get you there.
I've had no related problems since mine was done.

Try a few and see. I'm very happy with the 110, but others want more and a few are happy with less. It's no flying machine but it stress free enough in its ability to keep up with the traffic...but you might hate it. Only you will know what suits you.
