Hi all, my 66 Plate Highline sometimes idle at 1000 rpm not the usual 900... then on another day will at 900 and rise to 1000 when put into gear for driving as normal. Any ideas please??

Increased idle Speed is normal during regen phases. (1000rpm tickover) (about two regens per full tank)
And an increase from idle to 1000 is normal for off-clutch just before you take up drive.

I have got the same problem never no what its running at could be 850 rpm or 900 rpm or 1000rpm when it's at 1000 if I switch the engine of it starts backup at 900rpm and stays there ? Ps it's still under warranty stop start not worked since October ad it back to Preston they said it's fine can't find a fault

850 rpm, 900 rpm or 1000rpm is not a problem . . . . thats normal operation, The engine ECU decides what rpm to run the engine at depending on the situation.
the fact you say the the stop/start hasnt been working for a while indicates that you are not doing long-enough journeys to replenish the energy drained from your starter battery on a daily basis.
higher rpm`s like the 950/100 are normally due to cold weather, regen, high electrical demand or low battery SOC.

Noticed today on start up this morning (22 degrees outside) idle was at 800 straight away) not the normal 950 ISH on a normal start. Is this ok and cos of the hot weather do you think?
800rpm is fine.
Is it cos of the hot weather the higher revs are not needed? Thanks for reply
