Hi all, my 66 Plate Highline sometimes idle at 1000 rpm not the usual 900... then on another day will at 900 and rise to 1000 when put into gear for driving as normal. Any ideas please??

I have got the same problem never no what its running at could be 850 rpm or 900 rpm or 1000rpm when it's at 1000 if I switch the engine of it starts backup at 900rpm and stays there ? Ps it's still under warranty stop start not worked since October ad it back to Preston they said it's fine can't find a fault

HiPossible dodgy battery killing the stop/start function, seems to be an ongoing thing with Moll EFB batteries lately

I too notice ideal at 1000rmp, seems normal reading this thread.
But is regen phase?

Noticed today on start up this morning (22 degrees outside) idle was at 800 straight away) not the normal 950 ISH on a normal start. Is this ok and cos of the hot weather do you think?yes . .
