High Mileage Used Vans

Hey chaps!

Whats your thoughts on high mileage T5's ?

150,000 miles on a 10 plate kombi 140

Whats to look out for and what needs to have been done/replaced mechanically ?

My last T5 140 kombi had 162000 miles when I sold it . No big issue's with reliability , only had to replace intercooler and DMF . I always had the servicing done at Lancashire VW and most of the miles were on the motorway . The van still drove and performed great and I don't see any problem with high millage vans as long as they have a full service and maintenance record.

I'm still driving my t4 with 233'000 miles on the clock. I only bought my t6 lwb as I need a bigger van! T4 will get spoiled now as it deserves some tlc after the service it's given me. I started a business based around this van and quite frankly it's been the bollox. Roll on the t6. It's got a lot to live up to.
