I rented my old T6 out for approx 18 months and then sold the van and the hire business Id set up. Maybe I was lucky but over the 18 months I never really suffered any damage. Minor wear and tear yeah but not damage of any sort. Just be prepared to clean up after people as mine came back in a right state at times (I had a valeter on board but I still did it myself at times when he wasn't available)
I was pretty much booked up from April through to September with rarely a day free, that was at £100 per night. November to Feb is dead with October and March quite slow and offers are required to entice people in

Now up for sale and will include the website, couple of bookings in for later this month and early July already.
Just do not have enough time to run everything with setting up a new business.
