Hi all - I've got a standard two burner hob set up which has previously been faultless. Came to make a brew tonight after a walk in the peak district - hob had not been used for weeks and gas had been isolated at the locker - pressed the knob down and pushed ignition - loud pop and smell of singing as fireball erupted!
Switched off, turned on gas for a few seconds with no ignition - sounded normal so after venting the van tried again and it ran as normal.
Is it possible I somehow got liquid rather than gas at the burner? It's about 2c at the moment.
Any hints welcomed!
