Wanted I really need a 9 seater VW mileage under 50,000? Please help. Grey or black please.

I bought a 9 seat startline window van. The insurance with 8 seats was significantly less (no use if you need 9 seats!). I’m sure it was the insurance companies getting mixed up between 8 + driver and 9 + driver the latter is deemed a commercial passenger vehicle IIRC - classified differently. (Class M1 and M2)
Sadly, not unheard of, though the confusion usually lies with the broker rather than the insurer.
My sis had a Shuttle (now converted to camper) . Her tax was something ridiculous like £440 for the 9 seats
£185 for me
Like a Caravelle, a Shuttle is a 'car', therefore if it had a list price of over £40k new, it will be subject to posh car tax until the end of year 6.
Hers is an 04 plate though, original t5.
