Immobilizer?

Hi,

We got a second hand van t6.1 2020. When we got it the person said when locking, if you hold the lock button for 5 more seconds the lights with flash once and the immobilizer is active.

Question:

1/ Is this a factory fitted immobilizer? is that how they work?
2/ If not...how can I work out which immobilizer is fitted?

1. No, factory works using a chip inside your fob.
2. I guess you would need to find it, not an easy solution I know.
