Inca seat cover help

Hey!:)

Looking for some fitting advice on the Inca seat covers pretty please?

I've started fitting them but the middle panels on the back and seat seems to be baggy and stick out a bit  I can't get the velcro to attach either underneath the arm rests even with two of us pulling everything super tight

If you have fitted them, did you take the plastic trim off the base to get a tighter fit?

Any help much appreciated

How long did it take for yours to arrive? I've been waiting over a month for mine now, terrible at replying to emails. Said they'd send out my fronts then 10 days later received an email to say they've been sent out. Will have to wait another few weeks for the rears.

I think 2 months from ordering before they arrived. Thankfully I wasn't in a hurry. When you get an email to say they have been dispatched, it is 10 working days but that ran over a few days.

That may help sorry. I got the R line leatherette ones for my driver's and captain passenger seat.

I can only offer my experience with the waterproof ones, however I would have thought they were made from the same pattern/shape as the seats are the same so hopefully the below is some help.

I found the easiest way to fit them was to remove the seat (4 bolts/ nuts) from the seat base. Put the covers over when upright then lie them on their backs to pull the covers under the seat base trim. This is made a lot easier with the seat out as a) you can see under the seat and b) its much easier to access rather than squeeze your hand under them in situ.

The centre sections on mine do have some play in them, I assumed this is to allow for it to give when you sit in the them however for the ‘seat skin’ look I admit you wouldn’t want it to look baggy. Overall the fit was good but not perfect. The rear seat (I have kombi) was a lot more snug than the fronts, which could have benefited from being a little more snug. However as they are the waterproof type this isn’t so important and they were pretty cheap. The velcro elastic bits are a waste of time as they just come off, would have been better with a button or popper or even tied chord.

I did find they looked better after being fitted for a few weeks, they seamed to assume the shape of the seat better and the creases ironed out.

There is a THQ fitting video on youtube which may be of help, albeit not the same product however its similar. I believe for the arm rests you can also disassemble them so you only cover the foam part not the plastic under (saw this on a video somewhere but can find it at the moment sorry), this could work for you if they are too tight?

My front arrived yesterday. Are you able to upload some photos of how yours look on the seat base please?

I tucked mine in all the way around the plastic trim as i felt it holds them in place better. slightly baggy fit ok for waterproof ones but you would want tighter on leatherette
