Hello can anyone help we have just bought a transporter t30 2.5 SWB TDI and we think the injectors need replacing but several garages are telling us that ita not possible to do it for the model surely this is not correct ? Or that its the crank shaft that is broken
Does anybody have a rough idea of the cost to replace the injectors ?

The last Transporter made with a 2.5 litre engine was a T5, so there might not be as much knowledge on the T6 Forum as you'd expect, but there are some Forum members who previously owned T5's so all is not lost.
I cannot believe that changing the injectors is "not possible", it's more likely that they don't fancy taking the job on.
I'm assuming from your post that you've bought the van as a non runner. Don't rush to buy new injectors until all other possibilities have been ruled out or you could end up playing an expensive game of parts darts.
Good luck.

Absolutely the injectors can be changed, but it's a big job, as the front end of the van and intake manifold has to be removed first.
A lot of smoke issues on the 2.5 are caused by injector seal wear and / or injector bore wear, which often leads to a new cylinder head. You really need to find a specialist who knows these engines inside out, or it will get very expensive if the parts canon is fired at it! Any garage saying the injectors can't be replaced, or the crankshaft is broken are to be avoided at all costs!
Also bear in mind there a 4 variants of the 2.5 - AXD AXE BNZ & BPC codes, some have different injectors.

^^^^^what he said

there are a few common issues with those engines some of which are mentioned above, they also have issues with lobes on the camshaft and tandem pumps but name a couple more, i would also advise you find a garage thats familiar with them or you could start wasting money on unnecessary bits !
