Interior Led Fitting Problem

Just been searching through the forum and came across this thread.
I’m wanting to do exactly the same thing with my van but have a slightly different switch.
Can anyone give me some advise for wiring up instead of the switch mentioned above

you cant do it with that switch.


the above switch is ON-OFF-ON style switch.

the one you show above is ON-OFF (with a GRND for the LED to light when ON) - so its just ON-OFF from either power source, but not both.

there are a ton of them . . . all different styles.

look for "ON-OFF-ON Switch"

I used this one in the end. Does the job and small enough to fit in the pillar plastics.

Getting there now. What kind of electrical connectors is everyone using? For joining wires and splicing into other wires?
