Internal bike rack for SWB camper

Hey! Newbie here.

I’ve got a T6 SWB camper conversion on order. I wonder whether anyone has experience of transporting a road bike in the gap between back of front seats and the back seats.

It’s a pretty standard configuration conversion and was hoping to fit my road bike in there when travelling rather than using a bike rack.

I’ve seen some ‘sucker pads’ normally used for carrying bike on roof and was thinking I could use them on the van floor instead.

I´ve done it a few times just be careful with oil/wax on the seats. The chain ring can cause some nasty scratches on the plastic parts of the front seats.

How about using a bike bag. Wizz the wheels off and pop them into the wheel bags then drop the bike into the bag. Remove RD or prop the frame to prevent damage.
I bought a chain reaction one so I could put my mtb inside the van away from prying eyes.
