Internal Bike Rack - Sideways on

Hi,

There's lots of great options for transporting bikes with front wheels off, length ways. I'm wondering whether anyone has found a solution and fixings to transport them crossways (90 degrees to the length of the van), fixed to the side wall perhaps? Any photos?

Not a "Gucci" setup like @Base1388 but here in my road bike solution.



It clips into my seat rail and I can have it either fwd / aft or sideways.

It started life as a prototype but after a little tarting up with a tin of spray paint it now the end product !!

Base1388 - yes, saw this - very cool, but I need space for four bikes. I'm trying to establish if I rack them sideways, will I take up less of the van length. If I can gain a little room then it might allow me to use a rear seat for the kids on rails and a table with swivel front seats - that with a slim side kitchen, cool box and single burner should give me what I need as a day camper - enough to sit in, have lunch and make a cup of tea - whilst keeping he back end pretty clear.
