So dealer has suggested it could be that the speed limit may have been set when it was PDI'd.
They've offered to pay a local dealer to remove it, problem is local dealer has just told me 31st May is earliest availability, which if it turns out to be more serious would take me out of the dates to return it under distance selling regs.

Hi @Loz thank you for such a kind offer, you honestly have no idea what such a kind gesture meant to me when I read it at 2am with a crying baby in my arms last night.
I'm going through a really tough time in my personal life at the moment and you showed that there are still some kind people out there in the world so genuinely, thank you!!
As it happens Listers Coventry really stepped up yesterday and when I explained to the service dept. rather than the booking line the 14 days issue they squeezed it in on May 7th and they're only 15mins away from me. Plus they're going to sort a couple of other little niggles for me whilst its with them.
