Hi all,

Im new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself.
We took delivery of our SWB 150 Highline yesterday and have it booked in for a full camper conversion on the 16th of June. In the meantime I want to sort out the exterior by fitting a LV-R bodykit and some new alloys.
It will be the main family 'car' (I have a Golf) and is replacing our almost nine year old SEAT Alhambra.

Hello MikeeyP78, welcome to the T6 Forum. Very shiny van, I will bet that you are all very excited. Do you have any plans for it?

Welcome Mike, good colour
You happy with it ? What do the family reckon?
Cheers! The kids can't wait for the conversion. My wife has yet to drive it and she'll be the one using it the most!
We picked it up from the main dealer in Nottingham and the drive back to Hertfordshire was my first time driving a Transporter and it was exactly as i thought it would be. Smooth ride, plenty of power and quite car like.

We have the conversion booked but couldn't get it in till June, so I'll sort out the exterior. Nothing to radical from a lot of other vans, but I going for the full LVR bodykit and some bronze 20's. My 15 year old son prefers black wheels. Once the conversion is complete then I will look at getting the suspension sorted.

Welcome to the forum. Nice van and great colour.

One thing that puzzles me (not just about your van) is why some vans have a keyhole and black tailgate rather than no keyhole and body coloured. You van is a highline with tailgate glass and wiper.

Mine is a Highline. I had noticed as well that some had key holes and some don't. When I get the bodykit painted Im going to have the handle colour coded as well.

I too have the high line and it does have the key hole for the tailgate, however… you can buy a cover to stick over the entire handle to hide it. These covers can be anything from satin black, carbon fibre, through to colour coded to your van. I went for satin black.
