Just broke the news to the Mrs about new van

just dropped it into the conversation this after noon that the new van which she didn't know I've ordered comes this week.
There was a few fireworks going off but went better than what I thought and she is still talking to me .
I did think of just turning up on the drive with it but chickened out.
It's purchased threw the buisness so told her I needed a works van not sure what she is going to say when she see,s a shinny blackberry kombi turn up ha.

Brave man, I took the easy route and suggested a new van, the missus came with me to the showroom to look at a Kombi and said "I like that one" which was a Caravelle Exec, and "I want the fastest engine and four wheel drive", that was that then, just had to find the money.

Now I drive the Yeti to work and she has the van, and I hate to admit it but she drives it as well as me, foot down and off we go!

I did mention buying a kombi in February to the Mrs she shot me down straight away telling me to sell the escort cosworth as I never use it and it's just sits in the garage taking up room, then I could buy one.
I've still got the cosworth and kombi on the way I've had me cake and eaten it ha

Spoke to the dealership today told me to activate me free 5day insurance for Friday the 2nd 3 more sleeps till happy new van day

Funny how similar a lot of us get away with it. Mine was coming in March, ahem, November 2nd picked it up.
I share a lift to work, but made the fatal mistake of telling the wife how my mate can't believe how many waves we been getting over the summer. 'At least he gets to go in it' she replied. Damn n blast!!!
