K&R day bed added yesterday

Hello,

Having seen the various day beds and not liking the exposed frames and metal legs on some we went for a k&r bed, I really like it and the extra storage in the wheel arch boxes is brilliant.

That looks like a good system, what sort of thickness is the ply board that makes up the bed?

I believe without double checking it, that it's 20mm marine ply, the wheel arch boxes have removable tops and are great for storage. They are also fully carpeted inside, andt It'smade the van so much quieter too which is a real bonus

Just what I’m looking to do aswell I think, did you get a mattress with it?
Ikea do one thats 188x140 if not

We have a rock and roll bed and bed in pop up roof and we purchased the Sm Double Panda topper from Dunelm, which fits both area's perfect. Cannot recommend this enough

K&R vans South Wales. It's really nice, just need to get a mattress next
