Just put my vankraft hinge in so so different made the passanger seat much more comfortable will do the backboard tomorrow if I’m allowed out to play

I recently told my insurers that i intended to remove a row of 3 seats from my caravelle. The informed me that they should be professionally removed and any holes (inc those created by removing seat belt fixings) which could affect the vehicle integrity must be welded in. Is it me? I,m a bambi in this vw world. But I love it...Malb

Interesting! Hadn't thought I might need to get the garage to swap a seat out - although it has to be said I'm much better taking pushbikes to bits!

If I had a double I wouldn't change for single. Have single seats, nothing to complain about, advantage is the easy passage, but have sat on a double loads of times and I really like the space you have to 'hang around' when you're sitting next to the driver.....

....and keeps their feet off your dash!

Sorry to open this thread. But has anyone done this the other way around. I was looking to get another t6 but it's only 8 seats. We need 9 seats. Our current one is 9. How easy is it to convert. Cheers
