I know the feeling. Beginning to think I want two vansYea I do like that setup! Not sure if the storage would be big enough though . My main problem is I can’t really decide how I want it to end up .
Have you seen ‘cymrucamperfurniture’ on Instagram? Looks an exact copy of ‘van furniture’ but a bit more of a tailored fit.. looks niceI know the feeling. Beginning to think I want two vans
Another one that I've come across escapade_joinery. Chatting to the chap there. Very helpful.Have you seen ‘cymrucamperfurniture’ on Instagram? Looks an exact copy of ‘van furniture’ but a bit more of a tailored fit.. looks nice
How did your conversation go with escapade? I’ve been looking at The Ply Guys Torridon, his stuff looks very similar in style and design. I wonder how prices compare?Another one that I've come across escapade_joinery. Chatting to the chap there. Very helpful.
He was great to deal with. I did some simple diagrams for him to follow and he did it to spec. I wanted mine a little different to the usual. The back of the bench is a short wheel combi length and has a 1.4m drawer. Then there is an extra section at the front. That means if I want I can lift the front bit out and slip the back seats back in and also let's me leave a single back seat in. On the left side I kept that quite light weight and I have fastened it in with thumb screws so I can use the van width when I want.
That looks great. A familiar formula and exactly the kind of thing I’m looking at now. How did your bespoke design compare price wise to others?
Thanks for the info. Is that a complete replacement floor or something on top of the Kombi rubber floor? I do like the look of the buffalo board.... Lots to ponder. Also worth noting. Buffalo board will move you closer to plyguys pricing.
