Kombi Seat Options

I have a twin slider and it cane with a single bench.

The single bench didn’t work for me in terms of flexibility so I picked up a 3 x 1 set up. So I have a folding seat beside both doors.

The middle seat used the existing bench fitting, then the left and right singles use what would be the 2 + 1 / 1 + 2 fixing points if that makes sense?

I think this gives me the best flexibility outside fitting caravellle rails.

Apologies for the thread necromancy...

I have a single slider with a triple bench and am considering covering to 1+1+1 so I am just wondering, did you install the 1+1+1 seats yourself?
I am assuming it is pretty easy and that I can just cut into the existing floor mat, but it would be good to hear from some one with some experience.

Cheers

It's a straightforward enough task.

I did a full kombi 1+1+1 seat retrofit a little while ago using the following thread as a guide.

I put some photos of the task on the second page, showing bracket installation and mat trimming.

Thanks for the reply.

That looks a lot more involved than I hoped, I had not expect to have to do anything under the van. Slightly off putting for me
