Watching great TV pictures of the Women’s Ride London race around my town. Normally I’d be enjoying it live and taking pictures as it’s only the other side of the river to me. Unfortunately I’m laid up as a cyclist came off the track and hit me while taking shots of the finish of Tuesday nights racing. Feeling beaten up and still wobbly with concussion so not quite confident enough to walk over there yet today. Frustrating but looks like I’ll have to replace my T6 with a Zimmer for a while.

Thanks mate. Jokes are good. Apparently when I first regained consciousness I made a joke. Those are things that’ll help me recover. Must be a hard head as it hit the ground heavily but luckily I ain’t a vegetable so just the physical bits to mend. I’ll be clicking my heels soon.

Enjoying the celebrations today in spite of having to watch it on TV. Flypasts are always enjoyable from my place. Couldn’t use the long lens as it got smashed in the accident but managed a few usable shots with the phone.
