LED H11 Bulbs (front fogs)

I’ve had the Transporter HQ LED fogs for a couple of years, as far as functionality as fog lights goes they are a step down on the standard halogen H11.
I haven’t got around to changing them back as yet.

I wouldn’t go for any other brand than Philips. I’ve changed both main and dipped beams and DRL TO Philips ultinon bulbs and I’m super happy! The quality of light and visibility is insane compared to previous I could say candles.

That’s why I specifically seatch for Philips ultinon to replace the fog bulbs.

I've fitted these , very happy.
also found a sneaky code for 20%

This is very interestin:

QUOTE: You're in control
Changing between modes is easy, every time you want to change the mode, turn your fog lights off and then on again, leaving the unit in the off position for 5 seconds will reset it.

Thank you for sharing @Ukfozzybear and the code ;)

I'm a bit worried about this statement: " if your vehicle uses the fogs as a corning light these units would not be suitable "

Maybe @Dellmassive can answer, I got the link from his "how i did it"

When cornering they turn on one at a time so potentially one would change/

I never used to notice my turning lights (OEM LED) but i can see when the turning lights come on now. I'm very happy plus i got 20% off :)

it’s like hiving a swt of heavy laps in front of your car andthe yellpw ones the range and quality od detail on the side of the roads is insane!
Thanks you @Dellmassive for the thorough review and recommendation!!! Money well spent... let’s just see how long they’ll last for - I have a feeling they will last long - solid quality build on both modules

for those who missed, here ‘s the detailed @Dellmassive’s proper review:https://www.t6forum.com/threads/led-fog-light-upgrade-dual-colour-how-i-did-it.10394/

Cheers for now chaps

GUYS - UPDATE - The cornering light don't work anymore!!!

I've no idea what happened neither of them working as cornering light now - they both work as normal fog lights but not as corning one anymore!!!

I'll contact the supplier and send you update - I am so sorry if I influenced your purchase :(

Mine work. Are you sure?
Texxaco and mine both work ok as cornering lights.
There is a setting where they don’t come in unless you’re going slower than 25mph

Expect a reply similar to, "They work as fog lights (as described) so they are perfectly fine, the problem is with your vehicle."

@Ukfozzybear - My previous fog lights used to go on even when in stationary - let's say I was in parking, trying to join the traffic and I could see the cornering lights would turn on.

They did the same yesterday but today - none of this works now.

@DaveD - thanks Dave :D

Dammit! Will try for error with Carista. Will be back with an update soon chaps!

No errors on Carista.

First time I came back to the car, started the engine, turned the wheels and cornering light went on for 2 sec. It wouldn't turn on again afterwards - even when turned the engine off and on again. They still work as fog lights though.

I've tried switching the plug like turn around the plug 180 degrees but that stopped the light from working at all. So, I switched back the plug, fog lights working fine, cornering light in parking doesn't work at all now.

@Ukfozzybear I've tried going over 25mph and no difference. I clearly remember there were mainly going on when in parking - never saw my cornering lights going on while driving.

Let's see what the seller says... Will keep you posted guys.

Also, can you recommend any other LED that work as cornering lights?

@Loz - looping you in case you have any ideas?

Thanks,
Lakis
