Led Lighting In Rear And Tail Gate

I would think it has been discussed. I am looking to add some lighting to improve the rear section of my kombi for work. Also in the tail gate. Can I tap off existing interior light? I do not need them to be on long its just for loading and unloading. So switched with existing is fine.

Yes you can but depending on the type of lights that you fit you may find that they still glow when off due to the bulb monitoring. Not a problem if you don't use LEDs. Connect to + red/black and - to brown /red.

These worked for me. No residual glow and lights quite soft. So far vans not gone up in flames. Connected as per Travelvolts guidance above.

I have ordered very similar @Dieseldonkey. Hopefully when I tap off the rear interior light all is ok.
