Hello,
Where can i find the common rail sensor on a 2022 T6?
Motor Code DNA
2.0 TDI 110 HP
For connecting the tuning box☺️IMG20241104154624.jpg

Under the charge cooler be either the metal mount it's a right PITA to get to.

The seller of the tuning box is telling my that i need a box that's connecting to the obd port.
I can't use my old one that's connecting on the fuel pressure sensor

Is that peculiar to his box? I know someone who runs a Tunit box on a 110 and that plugs into the sensor on the fuel rail.

I dont know.
Maybe he only want to sell me a new tuning box .
Or the place is to difficult for most of the people to connect the box and they have a box that is easier to install (obd port)
Can your friend tel me where i can find the sensor?
This is my old tuning bix

He was home today, but his van wasn't - his sons car wouldn't start so he TWOCd Dad's van. That being the case I didn't get to see.

I may be seeing him Wednesday,if the van is there I'll try and get a photo for you.

Did mine the other day tricky to get too , it’s near the oil filler deep inside near top of cambelt casing, your see a thick wiring loom, with one connector coming off it, its a tricky to remove it
Did you place a tuningbox?
If so did it work ?
Do you have a picture and can you pinpoint the location so i have a better idee where to find the sensor
I see there 2 sensors with the same connectors.
I'm am not sure if one of them is the sensor.
I will post a picture later

Sorry, I totally forgot to update.

My chum Damon did show me his connector. He doesn't know where it was originally as he didn't fit the box, but its now to the left of the filler cap where the installer has unplugged the van loom to plug in one end of the box loom. I couldn't see where the second connector to the tuning box loom went for the sensor and wasn't jn a position to pull bits off someone else's van to have a look.

FWIW he says the performance difference isn't huge, it just makes it a little more flexible. He's left the box on 6 as it came from the factory has he didnt want to overdo things for the transmission.

I can see 2 connectors out there that are the same.
Number 2 looks like the pressure sensor.
It's hard to disconnect.
Is this the one??

So he had 2 connectors instead of 1?
I have only 1 connector.
I think it's number 2
