Looking to upgrade full sound system

So I'm looking at upgrading the full sound system in my van,

I'm definitely looking at putting the iLX-F115D-T6 Alpine Halo11 head unit in as I like the way it looks and that I can retain the parking sensors and steering wheel controls ect.

Then was also looking at the Alpine SPC-108T6 door and tweeter upgrades and the Alpine SPC-D84AT6 550 Watt 6-Channel DSP amplifier and subwoofer system for under the driver's seat.

Is anyone currently running this set up, If so what do you think?

Are there any alternatives speakers with similar easy(ish) self installation that you would recommend over the full Alpine set up? I know I want the Halo 11 but I'm open to alternatives to the speaker set up/sub and amp systems if I can find better quality for the price.

I also have 2 speakers in the rear rock and roll seat base that I'm looking to replace to compliment the front by connecting to the amp.

Any recommendations of what you have or would go for over the above?

Thanks

Ditch the alpine speaker idea it's garbage get the Gladen SoundUp setup

Will they run from the Alpine head unit? I had come across them online but everything I read said the DSP was only for the stock head unit

Easiest solution would be to pop over to @Dav-Tec and have him do the upgrade for you! His work is highly rated on here

Unfortunately he's 2hrs away from me and I was hoping to save some money by doing a self installation so id have more to spend on the system itself

I'm considering the Alpine Halo 11. I've recently had my front doors sound deadened (a must) and upgraded door speakers and tweets.

Early next year I may have amplifier and SW installed under passenger seat. Rear pods to finish off.

I'm thinking of installing Alpine unit myself. I'm looking for installation guide for T6.1. I'm also looking for the best offer online. Also, how much I'd be saving by doing it myself. Is it worth the hassle by saving a few £?

I installed it at the weekend, did all the speakers and 3 stage sound deadening on the doors as well. The sound deadening makes such a difference, my doors sound like a tank now when i shut them.

Took me 5hrs for the full installation, the head unit is fairly straightforward once you sort out the wiring loom(plenty of YouTube videos). The hardest part was getting all the wires tucked away behind the head unit itself. But definitely worth the effort, it sounds fantastic with all the alpine speakers and sub, the interface and carplay is brilliant as well.

Nice. I have a second car so if my T6.1 was off the road for a while then doesn’t matter. I've just messaged a local audio expert who installed my front speakers. He maybe able be able to do me a deal.

Did you install rear pods? The ones that fit into each top corner of van? Or rear speakers anywhere?

I have rear speakers installed into the base board of my rock and roll bed, I would of liked the pods as they look great but wouldn't work in mine as it's converted in the back so there's a cupboard in one of the corners

Following this thread with interest as looking to do the same - your install looks great. I was also wondering, what is the ‘cigarette lighter’ adaptor on the dash? Is that USB and HDMI?
