I didn’t use their tubes of sticky, I bought some Sikaflex. I don’t think I will ever be able to remove them again :)

A bit of plastic welding, hot gluing and cutting and hey presto, tweeters are upgraded and grab handles are installed, along with wiring in the shark fin and reverse camera productive couple of days.

Quite a difference on the original and when I do the door speakers it will all sound better. Had the same set up in my old T5.

Phoenix gold supplied by Peter preston at Skipton car radio with the MX 20cm door speakers all with VW plugs fitted.

So dropped the van in to my local VW center for warranty repairs on th sliders and water ingress in the rear, got a call today to confirm the following.

Slider cartridges will be replaced with new and tailgate latch will be replaced. The water in the rear is condensation buildup running back as the ply lining is blocking air circulation vents hmm we will see ply lining is coming out so let’s see if water stops. So should be all done by tomorrow.

That’s what I thought their ply obviously doesn’t cause and issue, only time will tell the ply is come out anyway so when removed if water still comes in then it will be an interesting conversation

windows done now do I go fake window or vynil infill on rear quarter, fogs and headlights tomorrow busy weekend.
