Loose exterior parts

Good morning all, on my T6.1 the awning rail above the sliding door appears to be bonded on, but annoyingly when I slid the awning out the rail, the rear 'end cap' fell off. It looks like is on with some sort of foam based tape.
Also above the windscreen just before the pop top there's a runner wind deflector that has also come loose at one edge.
My question is, what's the best method to stick these parts back on? I see plenty of talk about Sikaflex adhesive, would this be suitable? I don't want something that I will be redoing all the time but also don't want something that could fetch the paint off!

@Fishinbrine The same happened to my awning rail back and front, I had to clean the foam backing off the van and the rail bits, I then scored the back of the front and rear end caps, used black Sikaflex and pressed them in position any that squeezed out I dipped my finger in turps and smoothed around the caps any that spread on the paint work I removed with turps and then left it to cure.
