Loosing coolant, wet front right of the engine

I know this was covered in many posts but I couldn't find one with symptoms that I'm experiencing.

No butter on oil filler cap or oil dip stick. Warms up as usual and keeps 90 degrees temperature.
Oil level OK.
From my observations it looks like I'm loosing coolant mainly on short trips 15-30 minutes.

I can see wet spots in front of the engine above thermostat after a drive. Thermostat is wet as well. All dries up pretty quick.
Pictures attached.

I don't want to start replacing parts and wasting money. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get this sorted in the end? I've got the same issue, if I do a short trip when I check the coolant level after everything has cooled down it's dropped below minimum. However on longer journeys ( I've done two 250+ mile trips in the last week) the coolant level hasn't dropped by much at all.
