Hello Peeps!

The DLR leds do not come on but low/high beams work fine on passenger side.
Driver side is fine (both DLR and beams are good.
No dash warnings.

I get this error on ODB scan (OBDEleven)

Code:
Engine: CXEB 150 kW (204 hp) 2.0l
    Mileage: 15580 km

On the headlight, I see two ballasts/modules.
Top one is Part number 7PP941571AE. Does that control the DLR lights too? or at least provide power?
No idea what the bottom module is for? (would have to remove the bumper to get to it I feel :(

Thanks,
Chris.

7PP941571AE is for low/high beam only.
The other power module (4G0907697G) is for side/DRL lights.
You need to verify if your problem is faulty power module or the actual set of LEDs.
I would suggest to swap 4G0907697G from the other side and then you know 100% what has failed.
Front bumper off is a must.

Ah perfect! Now I know need to remove bumper for sure and will test like you suggest. Thanks very much. Will do this when sun and heat come together one day :)

Hi @mrharrod
Hoping the sun and heat have subsequently aligned.
Did you find a resolution to this?
I have just discovered the same issue.
Thanks
Andy

Hello mate, Yes I followed the bumper removal guide

(
)

Swapped the DLR ballast from headlight unit (There are two, one is for headlight and the other is DLR) with the Drivers side DLR ballast to confirm bad passenger side DLR ballast first.

This was the part I needed to replace the faulty DLR ballast (4G0.907.697.G Delphi 28548011 DLR light module).
check the label for your ballast to confirm that same or not).

Ordered replacement DLR module ballast from https://www.hids-direct.co.uk/
Installed new ballast and it worked!
Reinstalled bumper. Happy days. No ECU reset or anything like that needed (for me anyway).

Very much appreciated by an old member!

Does anyone know if the T6 Caravelle with halogen lights still has a DLR module ballast or is it only fitted with LED lights?

H4 and H7 headlamp bulbs are fed directly from the BCM.
Ballast is a reference to a "power supply module" on a High-Intensity Discharge (HID) lights, aka Xenon lights.

Thanks Robert. I've got the 02745 fault code with message: -
Bulb for Daytime Running Light; Left
010 - Open or Short to Plus
A google search for that fault code led me to this thread. The bulb is fine but I'm only getting about 0.7V at the connector. Do you know if the side lights are fed directly from the BCM too?

Yes, all light bulbs are fed directly from the BCM including side lights.
Did you try to clear the fault code?
Alternatively, disconnecting the main battery should reset the BCM and effectively re-enable missing side light output.

Thank you Robert. We did disconnect the battery and that hasn't worked but I didn't clear the fault code yet so I'll try that.

It could be the common fault of the DRL connector burnt out. Caravelle has H7 units and the bulb holder was upgraded following many failures. Easy way to identify is check if there are wires attached to the bulb holder. The original does not and picks up the feed from the headlight housing.
