Low Oil Warning

Got an oil level warning today after a cold start. Van has only been in use a few months but 9k miles on the clock.

Dipper is clear of oil altogether. Sorry rubbish photo.

No signs of oil in the floor where I park. Any ideas?

if it’s not on the floor or in the coolant, it can only have gone down the exhaust.

I check the oil every week on a new vehicle in case it burns a lot to start with.

The first 10K is mentioned as an increased oil consumption period.
Mine had it's first oil change at 10K.

Apologies been away for the half term.

Am I best to pick up some oil and just add a small amount at a time until its in the right range? I've got a lot of miles to do this week and probably won't be able to get it in for a service.

On our T6, one litre of oil takes it from min to max on the dipstick, so if I were you I would add one litre to start with.
I would also avoid driving it until that was done.

Just had the manual out and done an amazon order so will be able to top up tomorrow before I go Tuesday.

Caught me by surprise this as my previous vehicle was always having oil dilution issues with the dpf cycle, always had too much oil!
