Lowering and washing the windscreen

After my lad had washed my van the other day, I spotted that he'd missed the bit of windscreen by the mirror. When I picked him up on that, he said he couldn't reach it. I told him that he could if he stood on the top of the front wheel. He's always on at me to lower the van, but I said if I did that, I wouldn't be able to fit my foot in the arch gap anymore. However, as the words were coming out, I wondered if lowering it would mean that I could reach all of the screen without having to climb on the wheel. Hmmm

Offer him 10% of what it will cost to lower the van and he’ll reach it.

I'm a shortarse and I need the hated arch gap to get my size nines on the wheel and anyway no amount of lowering is going to enable me to reach every part of the screen!

The boy isn’t wrong. Well, it’ll depend on his arm length. But since I got mine lifted back up a bit, it’s certainly resulted in a cleaner van!

I can still get a foot in after lowering 40mm. Unless you're slamming it, you'll still be able to
