I'd been looking at their kitchens on ebay. Will avoid like the plague.
Hi mate looking at your pictures, you have fitted your furniture too far forward. I can see in your picture from the back where you were supposed to fit it on the the c pillar. The shape of the back fits the c pillar perfectly as it’s scribed to do so. When they said you had fitted it too far forward, you should’ve taken their advice.I used these 2 weeks ago for my new kitchen, biggest mistake ever!
Things I found wrong on fitting
1) The fitment of my units is a pisstake, really bad fit
2) the rear wardrobe unit looks off set, like the grain had been cut on cnc wonky
3) I had to buy a completely new fridge as mine didn't fit (luckily sold my fridge for same price as a different one)
4) The piece of wood which houses the control unit is 27mm too short
5) The piano hinge on fridge is very cheap and flimsy
The table runner is wonky
I emailed the team, no response. I then called and they told me I had fitted it wrong (too far forward) which i then shown them other pictures to show it scribed correctly to their notches.
Im now taking it further as I'm £1,495 out of pocket
Here's just one pic to show you
The bottom (which they said I fitted too far forward)

The top (same unit - which can't go any further without cutting)

They make their own pop tops mate, never had an issue and their price is great too. Recommend trying them.Just wondering if anyone else has used lusso campers? Specifically for a pop top?
Cheers
Hhhmmmm, I wonder who you work for? They make their own pop tops mate, never had an issue and their price is great too. Recommend trying them.
I work for myself and use Lusso to do my camper conversions. Great bunch of lads. I’d back them all day.Hhhmmmm, I wonder who you work for?
They make their own pop tops in house as I’ve seen their set up. They have around 30 staff so they must be doing something right. You’ve got to be wary of someone who can fit a poptop at one weeks notice, most quality fitters are booked months ahead. Having said that, I suppose if they’re new, all quality businesses have to start somewhere.
Not at all pal. Any further back and it wouldn't fit. The top was flush with the back metal where door latches are and the bottom had a square cut out that looked like stevie wonder was on the cnc machine. My pics were after my cousin (qualified carpenter) made it fit.Hi mate looking at your pictures, you have fitted your furniture too far forward. My thoughts exactly!Hhhmmmm, I wonder who you work for?
Because the owner threatens people who put a negative reviewCheck out their google reviews, 99% of people think they excellent. If there are any issues they on with it and get it sorted straight away.
Not so sure about ghetto.. yes they have small units where they manufacture everything in house. Keeps their costs down I’d say. I think their setup is impressive. They make roof pop tops to furniture to rock and roll beds and even do their front seat upholstery in house. They powder coat their own rock and roll beds and press their own boards. Add that to their cnc machines that’s a hefty outlay for a ghetto business !!It's crazy to read your experience, especially this bit as it is exactly what happened with me. Asad rang me at 11pm, I kept ignoring the call cause I was working on an emergency call out at the time. When I spoke, I told him all the issues, he said he would refund me the £250 after I removed the negative review.
He seems like a very confident business man with all the talk, but secretly his company is failing him. When I arrived to pick up my kitchen, I honestly felt like I'd entered some ghetto back street business, but at this point I'd already paid for my item.
Just my experience sweetheart. Cheer upNot so sure about ghetto.. yes they have small units where they manufacture everything in house. Keeps their costs down I’d say. They done my kitchen. Price was spot on, service and quality was shit. End of.They do my conversions, price is spot on, service is spot on. End of.
Even Gerald Ratner felt ill when he saw the pics....quality was shit.
Yes I have. They make their own pop pops for most makes. Fit bang on and all carpeted too. They even put roof lights in the roof bed without any extra charge. Would highly recommend.Just wondering if anyone else has used lusso campers? Specifically for a pop top?

Looks like that just needs tightening with the straps inside. Not that hard to do.Well bully for you.
Shame for Thea though...

Just because you had a positive experience does nothing to negate the fact that many others have not. End of, as you so adroitly state.
