Manchester / surrounding electrics company?

Hi guys,

I had to move my sargent ec155 power unit because it will be in the way of the furniture units being fitted.

I haven't been able to pass the 240v and 12v harness through the pillar as the clip is too big, I've been advised that this needs to be cut, thread through and rejoined. This is being my comfortable capability so I've been trying to find a company to finish the job for me (and wire in a fridge.)

I've been let down by 2 people so far, and the job needs doing on or before Thursday as it's going to the conversion company Friday.

Don't mind travelling a bit if someone can fit it in on such short notice.

Photo is how it currently looks.

Any recommendations?

Can you post a picture of the plug/clip the wires run into? most of the time there is a release system built into the plug either by inserting a pin to release the wires, or a plastic lug within the plug that you push out the way

Won't the conversion company do it?

As above post some pics of the offending clip/plug.

@SamD Apologies not the best image I'm not at my van right now so this is grabbed from a video. Here's a link to the kit used:

@Skyliner33 I'm getting the furniture / unit fit out from 'the ply guys' who don't do any electrical work only fit their units.

Those look like the pins should come out pretty easily?
Do you have an tools? Or sometimes an unfolded paper clip can work.
Where about in Manchester are you?

@Skyliner33 I've never done anything of that nature before. But no, no tools for this job. Ancoats, but can travel.
Aslong as its all disconnected its very easy, just shove a pin inside the plug where the wire is and that releases the wire.

You dont need to visit a specialist conversion company just see if you can find a friendly local garage as they will have the tools to do it, shouldn't take long at all.

If you cant find anyone try Jordan Jordan's Garage - The Dub Hub | Stourport

@SamD Thanks for your reply and recommendations. Unfortunately Innercity don't have time. I've called Natural born campers but no answer so left them an email.

@SamD That's very kind of you. @Skyliner33 Has offered to take a look tomorrow afternoon but if no luck then I'll be sure to drop you a message. Thanks!

Unfortunately they seem too busy, so any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry i missed you earlier when you called Tom, i've just got back now and catching up on missed calls and emails. Apologies we couldn't be of much help on this one, we're on a tight deadline at the moment for Busfest coming up and a demo van that doesn't look very ready to demo!!

Cheers
