If anyone is considering stitching a steering wheel cover on the basic T6 steering wheel here is my example.
I bought this MEWART faux leather cover from amazon for about 35 quid. It's cut to size and fits very well. Easy to stitch and took around 1.5hrs.

You can choose from many colours and a materials. I bought faux as it was cheaper and I was unsure if it looked good. Knowing now, I would happily pay 70 EUR for the real leather version.
