MFSW - RES button not illuminating

The RES button on my multifunction steering wheel (Golf wheel which was fitted to my van by previous owner) doesn't illuminate. I can't actually remember if it did when I took ownership of the van, or whether it has stopped working in the last 8 months or so.

The steering wheel works perfectly apart from this one button that isnt lighting up, with full functionality from the buttons, including operating the ACC and audio, etc.

Is this likely to be as straightforward as replacing an LED bulb?

If so, can anyone give advice about whether the button cover pops off easily with a trim removal tool or if it's more complex than that? (I don't want to start experimenting myself as it all works fine apart from the light!)

Also, if it is a straightforward bulb replacement - any idea what bulb?

(Sorry if this has been covered before, I've searched here and the web more widely, but can't find any info)

Cheers,
Pete

Micro soldered on LED, no chance of fixing yourself.

Have a look on YouTube for more pics etc.

You need an electronics guy to do it.

The mfsw needs stripping down to get the button set out.

Ah, thanks for that - much more to it than I'd hoped.

Never mind, I can live with that one light out! :)
