Mfsw Upgrade From Non Button Wheel

I sold him the wheel and said from the outset that I wasnt sure if the buttons were from a t6 so was totally up front and honest and this was reflected in the price.
Quite correct .. yes a bit of a gamble for the money

You can't have ACC with no buttons on the steering wheel.
Can you post better picture of your new MFSW(especially LHS buttons)?

By the way, for CCS and not ACC.
If you have a euro 5 engine then you can not fit cruise in the steering wheel
...
Unless you install £120 worth "cruise control emulator" which allows ECU to understand LIN BUS steering wheel buttons.
Or alternatively the EDC17 ECU would need to be patched.;)

That’s not an ACC wheel. That’s standard cruise control

Yes i have vcds..i have only change steering wheel im waiting for the wiring to multifunction steering wheel, as im told they are not the same

I would prefer cruise on the wheel, but mine is on the stalk. Has it been worked out how to do this yet?
I this would give me a reason to change the wheel as well as the flappy paddles.

Hi,

Are there still no luck on using MK7 steering wheels with ACC and "mode" buttons on non cruise control cars, or regular cruise control cars with out changing chips? forexample just switching to "non cruise" buttons?

I have bought an T5 with this wheels, but it seems to me that "all" wheels easy can be done, but just not ACC and MODE wheels.

any news or any thing I missed ?

Thanks in advance
