MIB2 PQ Discover Media - Infotainment mods, upgrade, FEC / SWaP

Yes I did notice that, but USB works fine

Could you post your current admap?

What do you think 60100 is for?
60100 is Vehicle Interface (VEHICLE STATUS & DRIVING DATA) as per the screen shot below.
Screenshot_20200114-105536_YouTube.jpg
OFFROAD can be activated separately via adaptation in addition to VEHICLE STATUS & DRIVING DATA and also as you know already it exists independently on some higher revisions.

I will post my adaptation map later on.

And by the way I think we can observe an interesting pattern.
You are missing USB code but it is present and works, also @mmi is missing Car-Net on his active code list but this feature is actually active and also works fine for him.
So this leads me to conclusion that maybe some of the SWaP features don't need a code on active list to actually worko_O

@Adams (5C0035680G, SW 0449, 60100 installed) and
@mmi (5C0035680F, SW 0468, 60100 not installed and not present)
can you both perform simple test for me and post your findings/results here?
Each step is quite important so please be pedantic:cool:

1. Change your infotainment adaptation channel
ENG122227-ENG117606-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_hybrid to activated
2. Check if you have new entry in the main menu called "HYBRID".
3. If yes, click it and enter your new menu entry(as our vehicles are not hybrids there is nothing really useful)
4. While you are still in that menu change the same adaptation channel
ENG122227-ENG117606-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_hybrid to not activated
Now you should see something like below
Zrzut ekranu z 2020-01-15 00-46-16.png

5. Press on the screen bottom RHS car/gear icon and enter configuration menu(just for the purpose of entering that sub menu, you will adjust things later on;))
6. Exit configuration by pressing top RHS twisted arrow icon once.
7. Click bottom LHS Selection icon and see what shows up there.
8. Do whatever you like, check everything, enter/access/modify/adjust

Decided to try this on my T6 (5C0035680C, SW 0245, 60100 supported, not installed) and it works
Although all I had available was offroad. Gives me something to experiment with. Thought I'd share, appreciate I'm hijacking the thread so apologies and I will stop posting if preferred. :)

Well done mate:thumbsup:
Post away, you are more than welcome!
By the way, can you confirm once again, is the code 60100 - Vehicle Interface on your installed or supported list?

Whoops typo from me I have a supported not installed 60100, I've corrected my post above (need more coffee). Thanks :)

1. Change your infotainment adaptation channel ENG122227-ENG117606-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_hybrid to activated - CHECK.
2. Check if you have new entry in the main menu called "HYBRID". - CHECK, Yes I have.
3. If yes, click it and enter your new menu entry(as our vehicles are not hybrids there is nothing really useful) - CHECK.
4. While you are still in that menu change the same adaptation channel ENG122227-ENG117606-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_hybrid to not activated - CHECK.
Now you should see something like below - Yes but no, actually no chance, still Hybrid thing - Power flow.
5. Press on the screen bottom RHS car/gear icon and enter configuration menu(just for the purpose of entering that sub menu, you will adjust things later on;)) - CHECK.
6. Exit configuration by pressing top RHS twisted arrow icon once. - CHECK.
7. Click bottom LHS Selection icon and see what shows up there. - CHECK, selection box is empty (not even hidden items in there). Interestingly the Refuel range (with correct value) appeared, so there definitely is some intercommunication onboard.

No progress from here. :(

8. Do whatever you like, check everything, enter/access/modify/adjust
All regular things seem to work just fine. However, the unit won't turn off. Needs "long press reset". All "changes" are gone - as expected.

I would have had a go at this but this is what the instructions look like to me:

Now, can you also change
ENG122227-ENG117566-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_compass to activated
and repeat the whole process and please report?

Quick question, how do you change the infotainment adaptation channel?

I see potential there... meanwhile, attached my adaptation map...;)
IDE02122-Developer mode activated, otherwise as from factory...

Yes, you have OFFROAD already active so you don't need to reactivate it.
I purposely didn't mention that adaptation channel to see if this would allow people to access this menu with OFFROAD mode not activated.
