For me it’s always camskill tyres very helpful and straight forward. Cross climate 2s x 5 very happy.
My experience of Costco is completely different. (Mind you not bought any tyres since then). It was on a set of brand new banded steels. I forgot to mention they were different widths, however when I got back all tyres were fitted the correct way round and stick on weights used not knock ons.Anything like this?

Took 90 mins to fit 2 tyres. First 30 mins they couldn't find locking wheel nut... Wasnt at all hidden. Then 1 didn't hold pressure so I drove back few days later. They wouldn't look as I hadn't booked time in . Soonest they could do was a few days later. Took them near 2 hours to tell me it was not fixable.
